How our coverage works

We work in two regions of South Africa: the Western Cape around Cape Town, and the Eastern Cape around Gqeberha and the Kouga coast. Within each region we group suburbs and towns into areas so we can plan efficient routes and get to you as quickly as possible.

Metro suburbs

In the main metro areas, such as Cape Town's suburbs and Gqeberha, we work every day. These are the quickest areas for us to reach.

Nearby towns

Towns a short drive from the metros, such as Stellenbosch, Somerset West, Paarl, Kariega and Jeffreys Bay, are covered on regular runs.

Outlying towns

Towns further away, such as Hermanus, Gansbaai, Bredasdorp, Worcester, Ceres, Saldanha, Langebaan, Kenton-on-Sea and Kirkwood, are booked by arrangement. We plan the visit in advance, ask for photos and model numbers so we can bring the right parts, and group jobs in the same area where we can to keep travel costs fair.

• Southern Suburbs: from Rondebosch, Newlands and Claremont to Constantia, Tokai and Kirstenhof, with damp winters under the mountain and many character homes.

• Breede Valley and Witzenberg: Worcester, Ceres and Wolseley, with extreme summer heat and cold winters.
• West Coast: Malmesbury, Grotto Bay, Saldanha, Langebaan and Jacobsbaai, exposed to wind and salt.
• Overberg: Hermanus, Gansbaai and Bredasdorp, with retirees, holiday homes and farms.

Eastern Cape areas in more detail

• Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha): Summerstrand, Walmer, Mill Park, Lorraine and the rest of the metro, plus Bluewater Bay, Theescombe, Sardinia Bay, Seaview and Kragga Kamma.
• Kariega (Uitenhage) and Despatch: inland heat and busy family homes and workplaces.
• Jeffreys Bay: Wavecrest, Paradise Beach and Aston Bay, with sand, salt and holiday rentals.
• Humansdorp and St Francis Bay: farms on borehole water, canal homes and thatched holiday houses.
• Kenton-on-Sea and the Sundays River Valley: holiday homes, Colchester, Addo and Kirkwood, by arrangement.

How to get the fastest booking

Wherever you are, a few details help us get to you sooner and fix the problem on the first visit:

• Your suburb or town, and for farms and smallholdings a WhatsApp location pin.
• The appliance and brand, plus a photo of the model sticker. On fridges it is usually inside on a side wall; on washing machines inside the door or on the back; on dishwashers on the side of the door; on aircons on the side of the indoor and outdoor units.
• What is happening, including any error code, noise, smell or leak, and when it started.
• Access details, such as gate codes, estate security, building managers or a caretaker if you are away.
• Other appliances that need attention, so we can look at them in the same visit.

With that information we can usually tell you the likely fault, give you an idea of what is involved and bring the parts most likely to be needed. In the metros that often means a same-day or next-day visit; in outlying towns it means a planned visit that gets the job done in one trip.
